GO Serve™ optimises bowl feeders in the electronics industry

Another successful job delivery for our GO SERVE™ Team. The team optimised the discharge of a bowl feeder on a special purpose machine, that produces electronics components.

This machine is essential to our customer’s production process. As a trusted engineering and service partner, our team, lead by our Head of Automation turned this around to the customer’s highest satisfaction. The system now prevents multiple components passing through the discharge with 100% effectiveness.

The optimised system is flexible with adjustments for any product varieties and future proofed for any new products.

We would like to thank our fabrication partners Tungsten Engineering Ltd for the collaboration.

While manufacturers may be shifting towards more flexible feeding systems, bowl feeders still hold a significant place in industrial automation, supporting the assembly and manufacture of products worldwide. It would be great to know how many parts go through all the bowl feeders in the world at any given time, let's see if anyone has researched this and knows the number. The skill of developing bowl feeders and line setting these is quite an artform.

Do you have any feeders that are misbehaving, we would love to send our team round to bring these back in line.
