RoHS and WEEE Policy

Environmental Position

GO LEAN, Ltd. believes that a clean environment is vital for a healthy society and sustainable future. We are dedicated to exceeding environmental standards and proactively addressing environmental concerns. We achieve these goals by combining technological innovation with responsible, Eco-friendly business decisions throughout every phase of a product's life cycle. Our efforts are centered on strict compliance with all applicable environmental laws in every country where we operate.

Circular Economy

GO LEAN actively supports the circular economy by limiting hazardous materials in electronics, which makes the recycling process safer and cleaner. By encouraging product designs free from substances like lead and mercury (in line with RoHS), we promote the use of safer materials. This makes our products easier to reuse, repair, and recycle.

This approach ensures electronic waste is less polluting, allows for more valuable materials to be recovered, and supports a sustainable closed-loop system. The WEEE directive specifically handles the collection and recycling of waste electronics. Together, these directives help manage the entire product life cycle more sustainably.

Commitment to RoHS and WEEE Requirements

GO LEAN is committed to meeting all requirements of the European Union’s (EU) WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and RoHS (Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Directives. These directives require strategies for waste management and product design for the environment for electrical and electronic equipment sold into EU countries.

Compliance Statements

GO LEAN is committed to meeting all requirements of the WEEE directive (2002/96/EC). The WEEE directive requires that manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment who sell into EU countries: (1) label their equipment to notify customers that it needs to be recycled, and (2) ensure that their products are appropriately disposed of or recycled at the end of their lifespan. For collection and return of GO LEAN products, please contact your local GO LEAN representative or distribution partner.
